Spring Data is a popular library which makes data querying easy. Now it also comes with a Hibernate Search support.In this presentation we’ll glimpse into Spring Data project, what and how it brings this querying simplicity. We’ll also go over the basics of Hibernate Search and its full-text search capabilities.The technical part will be concluded with closer look into this new Spring Data and Hibernate Search integration -- how it’s integrated with JPA, Infinispan, GAE and Spring Boot.At the end we’ll run a quick demo -- a booster application on top of Infinispan data grid cluster.

Justin Aleš

Aleš Justin, author

Aleš Justin was born in Ljubljana, Slovenia and graduated with a degree in mathematics from the University of Ljubljana. He fell in love with Java long ago and has spent most of his time developing information systems, ranging from customer service to energy management. He joined JBoss in 2006 to work full time on the Microcontainer project. He currently hacks on some funky backend project, which includes all sorts for SpringBoot magic.
